VSU TOLOSA

Tolosa-SSC conducted an orientation for the freshmen and transferees at the multi-purpose hall on the first day of August 2016. The Heads of offices were invited to talk about the opportunity and other privileges that VSU can offer. There were also other fun activities like search for Mr. & Ms. Harampang.

The office heads, faculty, staff, and newly elected Tolosa-SSC officers were introduced to the students during the Annual Academic Convocation hosted by the CSSC on August 2, 2016. The Convocation was held at the VSU-Tolosa High School grounds.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (CE)

College of Education Acquaintance Party last September 2, 2016 at the VSU Gymnatorium together with the College Dean Lijueraj J. Cuadra. The party was made possible by the College of Education Supreme Students Council headed by the Vice President, Izzy Ann A. Retuya, who filled up the absence of the President, Jeffrey Curay who was out for his practice teaching.

Photo taken last August 11, 2016 in celebration to the VSU Founding Anniversary wherein the different organizations were tasked to generate income through an activity. One of the activities of the College of Education was the face painting as shown above.

A photo with the College of Education and College of Arts and Sciences Pop Dance group who won the 1st place during the closing ceremony of the 2016 VSU Intramurals “Heart of a Champion” last September 23. The College of Education together with the College of Arts and Sciences provided the fund that was used for the expenses of the costumes, snacks, meals and other matters.

Zumba session conducted last October 14 at the VSU Gymnatorium as part of the Post Teachers’ Day Celebration attended by the students, faculty and staff of the College of Education and its sub-unit: Institute of Human Kinetics and the Department of Teachers Education. The zumba was headed by the selected MAPEH majors. It was then followed by solidarity games involving the teachers and the students.

Symposium conducted in line with the Post Teachers’ Day celebration last October 14 at the Convention Centre with the topic “Tips on Becoming a Great Teacher”. Attendees were the College of Education students, faculty and staff.

College of Education faculty and staff during the tribute night and awarding ceremony last October 14 at the Convention Centre. During the tribute night, students handed cards and flowers to each teacher. Songs, dances and video presentations were dedicated to the teachers as well. The awarding of the winners to the solidarity games followed afterwards.
